In almost every home there are places where a variety of small things accumulate. They are called hot spots, trying to control and organize ... But things are collected again, negating the order in the room. The problem can be easily solved by putting a small basket in such a place. Little things will cease to be evident, creating a mess.

It’s not at all necessary to buy a basket in a store — use the old newspapers and weave it yourself. The project does not take much time.

You will need:

  • old newspapers;
  • stapler;
  • color satin ribbons;
  • scissors;
  • triangle;
  • glue for paper

Cut the newspapers in half (can be broken). From each rectangular page we fold a long ribbon, bending the sheet diagonally. If newspapers are crumpled, walk on them with an iron. Begin to weave the bottom of the basket. First, connect the four strips and align the corners with a triangle. Secure the weaving with a stapler.

Next, add the strip from four sides. Press the newspaper so that the weaving is tight enough. Only some places can be fixed with a stapler.

When you make a large enough rectangle, rise from the bottom of the basket to the sides. Bend the strip up, and then add a new weave to it.

It is possible to glue the strips between each other with any glue to make the construction more secure. But if you want the basket to hold a natural shape, glue only the very edge.

At the end of the work fix the edge with a stapler or glue. Top paste over a wide satin ribbon, bending it in half. You can use a bias tape. The basket can be painted with acrylic paint, or leave the texture of newspapers.

Put a basket in each place in the house where the mess is constantly forming. Now nothing is lost, and the room will look neater.
