Lazy strudel with cherries and nuts - and no need to stand for hours at the stove!

Ingredients:

unleavened puff pastry (purchased) - 500 gr.
Cherry (can be frozen) pitted - 500 gr.
walnuts - 80 gr.
Breadcrumbs - 80 gr.
butter -1 tbsp.
granulated sugar - 100 gr.
egg - 1 pc.

corn starch - 1 tbsp.

Cooking:

Remove the dough from the freezer and while you are cooking the rest of the ingredients - it will freeze at room temperature. Sprinkle the working surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a very thin layer.

Melt the butter, and grease them with rolled out dough. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and finely chopped nuts, stepping back a couple of cm from the edges of the dough.

Drain juice from cherries, add a spoonful of cornstarch (no top) and mix.

Put the cherry on our dough and sprinkle with sugar. Roll up as close as possible.

Place on a baking tray covered with parchment. Prick with a fork and grease with a beaten egg. Bake in preheated oven to 200 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
